Who We Are
We roast our coffee in small batches in San Diego. Our love for the craft began in 2015 and has grown from home-roasting on the stove to full on production roasting.
Our role is simple: apply precision without overreach. We roast to highlight what’s already there, not to mask or manipulate it. The result is coffee that stays true to its origin.

Sunfolk keeps 100+ bee colonies across San Diego - intentionally selected to provide the healthiest habitat for our bees. Our bees pollinate flowers and trees located on organic farms, native wildflower fields, and untouched mountain regions on the outskirts of San Diego.
We create the right conditions for our bees, then stay out of the way. They reward us with raw, unfiltered honey that reflects the land it comes from.
We simply wouldn’t exist if it weren’t for our partner farmers around the world who tend to their land and nurture their coffee farms. Their careful management is what allows us to provide the highest quality coffee.
Their role is pivotal to cultivate and process coffees with care and precision. Our role is to honor that work through careful roasting.

A Place to Call Home
Something special is taking root in La Mesa.
Sunfolk is finally planting roots of its own — a new home with a full drive-thru, an on-site roastery, and a bakery built around the things we love most.
The plans are in motion, and if all goes as planned, we’ll be settling into our new home in 2027.
